Calvi Beach – 1 km from the Kasano Hotel Calvi luxe

One of Corsica's most beautiful beaches is just a 4-minute drive or 20-minute walk from our hotel. La Pinède beach is a well-equipped beach in the heart of Calvi. Settle down on a sun lounger, hire a boat to explore Calvi Bay or try out the water sports offered by the nearby centres. La Pinède beach in Calvi is particularly well known as a great spot for windsurfing and kitesurfing when the north-easterly wind is blowing.

This long white sandy beach also has restaurants for lunch in the sun or a romantic dinner, as well as trendy beach huts where you can meet up for a drink with your feet in the water. The setting is worthy of a film: the location was used as a filming location for several scenes in Luc Besson's film The Big Blue. 

La Pinède beach, just a few minutes from Kasano Hotel Calvi Luxe, also hosts most of the unmissable Calvi on the Rocks festival.

Saleccia Beach – 2 hours from the Kasano Hotel Calvi Luxe

A change of scenery at Saleccia Beach... Considered by many to be the most beautiful beach in Haute Corse, this long sandy beach stretches for a kilometre in the heart of Mediterranean vegetation. Its incredible turquoise waters, which are home to a particularly rich underwater life and are reminiscent of tropical lagoons, are surrounded by olive trees, holm oaks and heather. The site is protected, allowing the beach to retain its wild appearance, with an air of being at the end of the world. Saleccia Beach is about a two-hour drive from the Kasano Hotel Calvi Luxe. Please note, however, that the track is suitable for 4x4s and quads but is not very passable by car.

Throughout the summer, shuttle boats depart from the port of Saint-Florent every hour from 9am until evening. The journey to Saleccia beach takes approximately 25 minutes.

Lotu Beach – 2 hours from the Kasano Hotel Calvi Luxe

Shuttles departing from Saint Florent also serve Lotu Beach, near Saleccia Beach. The boat trip takes about 30 minutes. This white sandy beach with crystal-clear waters is one of the treasures of the Agriates desert. It also offers a wild and unspoilt setting, for a complete change of scenery. Saleccia beach has no tourist facilities, so remember to bring water and a picnic.
